B-36 Peacemaker at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum in Nebraska
Only four Convair B-36 Peacemaker aicraft remain today, one located at the Strategic Air Command and Aerospace Museum in Ashland, Nebraska, near Omaha.
It is a B-36J, with Serial Number 52-2217A, manufactured by the Fort Worth Division of General Dynamics Corporation and delivered to the Strategic Air Command in December of 1953. Also on display is one of two XF-85 Goblins ever built, a "parasite fighter-escort" designed to be carried underneath the B-36.

Ashland is located between Lincoln and Omaha near Interstate 80. It features over 300,000 square feet of exhibit, education, and event space. The facility, often still referred to as the "SAC Museum", first opened in 1959 to commemorate, and preserve, the vintage aircraft and history of the Strategic Air Command (SAC).
